Does anyone know if there are plans to ever expand the Boston Landing commuter rail to include other commuter rail lines?
Thanks!

I don’t think there are plans to expand any line in the near future. The MBTA is not even meeting current service needs with their current budget. Any influx of cash would be to fix infrastructure.

Maybe when they get the whole Allston 1-90 Interchange fixed with West Station.

They are expanding the commuter rail to New Bedford and Fall River and just finished expanding the Green Line.

The connection could be by the BU bridge, there's a rail bridge right next to it. There has been talk of doing that and building a station there as part of redoing the pike/soldiers field road

Doubtful. No other routes pass through there and I highly doubt that they're gonna put down new tracks to connect it to anywhere else. The only reason why it's on the Framingham/Worcester line is cause the tracks already passed through the area. All they did was add the new station to the existing line.
