Has anyone experienced getting an Uber/ Lyft from the airport with the tunnel closed? How much did you get charged?

With the freezing weather this weekend & my many luggages, I'm considering getting an Uber from the airport to Watertown. I usually take the Logan Express/ Silver Line to the city and get an Uber from there... but currently not ideal with the amount of stuff I have.

Just take a cab. Easier than Uber, slightly more expensive.

I took a taxi from the airport last Sunday about 11am and I'd probably do that again if I were in your situation. Oddly there were no taxis at the taxi stand but they radioed for one and it showed up in about 3 minutes, which is better than what you can expect from Uber/Lyft even on a good day. Once on the road there was minor traffic in the tunnel but no real delays.

Can you ship some of the stuff ahead? I just did that after a long trip away. The convenience is such that I think I'll be doing it a lot more often.

We have flown quite a bit in/out of Logan and have not had any issues with calling ubers/lyfts, but we have to go significantly closer than Watertown so YMMV.
