Cant say much about deadlift since I have the least experience there by far, but my squat struggled while I was in my defecit (note the ~12lb weight loss), and is only now coming back around.

As a European I assumed all the weights were in kg at first š

Maybe they are. Here in America our meat is filled with growth hormone. Does wonders for your PRs š

I was like āwow 250kg bench thatās impressiveā then āoh but this guy is nearly 200kg himself, he must be huge!ā then it hit me š

Made using Excel. I began to properly track my weight/lifting when I started uni in the fall, and finally compiled it all into a graph! (Numbers in lbs)
GaynessForever t1_jc4h1yr wrote
How long had you been training for when you started this graph?
cX1s OP t1_jc4h8ds wrote
I trained for about a year and a half when I was around 15-16, then stopped through high school. I just started again the summer before uni, and have been tracking since then!

Good natural genetics if you're benching 225lbs at 18 with minimal training

During my time training in high school, I was able to hit 195 for a single at my peak, at 5ā10ā and around 160 lbs. Starting back up was a little rough, I even struggled with 135 initially when I got back into it, but consistency and working on my form has done wonders.

If I were your coach Iād suggest changing your approach to the two exercises that donāt show a sigmoid shape (after congratulating you on the two that do). And, yeah, if I were a coach Iād be the type thatās obsessed with performance data.

Iām really enjoying the tracking, gives me a good idea of my progression. The deadlift numbers will need some more time to develop, as Iāve only recently started those, and my squat numbers were dropped while I was cutting (late dec22 - a few weeks ago is).

Dead lift plateau is a smart move. At face value, looks as though youāre not overdoing increases so as to allow your muscularskeletal durability of your lower back to improve, which takes longer.
Could also be because your forearms are feeling more taxed with the heavier weight? If thatās the case, Sarcevās priority principle, where you exercise a given movement when freshest, might be a suggestion. Additional forearm work can also be a big help, with or without grip wraps.
Congrats on the progress so far.

I feel like the plateau is largely back-limited. It has the least data points because I held back on pushing it until I got a lifting belt. As far as I can tell, my grip is fine, not a limiting factor (I have chalk but rarely feel the need to use it). Sitting at 335 right now, but planning on going for 335 tomorrow, and if it feels okay might try for 345/355. Will see.

Iām am so jealous of your bench to weight ratio. At the same weight I was celebrating doing more than 1 rep at body weight. Impressive work.

Nice! Those are great numbers and solid growth. Iām tracking the same right now. Keep it up!
