Yeah saying that all fighting games are the same is like saying all RPGs are the same.

Which is a common complaint among people that don't play them. "Anime turn based JRPG waifu bait trash" and other similar phrases.

They don't learn the fundamentals of the genre and can't see the nuance. All JRPG are the "same".
