Well does the layout and design being the same matter if they add a bunch of new stuff throughout it? Especially considering how empty the world was in BoTW.

Taking that same world but actually filling it with stuff this time would make for a great return to that world if you ask me.

It's worth mentioning that at least the original RE4 is pretty hitt or miss. It's by no means a bad game at all but it's my least favorite RE game because it's too action heavy without a single scary part throughout the entire game. But it seems like the remake will actually add the horror part to action horror this time.

Yeah RE2R was better but RE3R isn't worse just because there is a better game out there.

By itself it's still a good game. Just not as great as RE2R was. It was a good game imo at least.

Nah I never would have gotten around to playing it if it wasn't for the remake. Same with the Resident Evil remakes. Was never interested in getting into the franchise because I couldn't be bothered playing the older games. Remakes fixed that and made me a fan that has since checked out the originals.
