Do you recommend using a MagSafe charger for the latest iPhone models? What's the pros or cons? Thanks.

My iPhone 14Pro Max displayed “charging paused due to heat” multiple times when charging on beside table so I’ve gone back to 20W charger and cable at home. Battery health dropped a month after purchase at release also. I still MagSafe charge in the car though but it’s mounted to the air vent for cooling.

Heat , slower charging speed. I prefer wired charging.

I really don't understand why people use magsafe charging regurarly. It costs money to get the magsafe charger, just for the effect. Instead of plugging in the cable which onoy takes a couple of seconds to plug it in, and you don't have to worry about heat 😅
Only magsafe interesting designs are the power bank magnet thing that you stick on the back of the phone instead of carrying the brick around.

I use USB charging when I need to charge, with the exception being the in the car. I bought a magsafe puck and mount for my car so that I don't have to worry about fumbling with a cable and fitting it in the holder. I just put the phone on the magnet and away I go.
Downside is the heat generated from the charging, which isn't so much of an issue for me when I either have windows down for airflow, or the air con is on.

I use a magsafe pop wallet and it feels more secure than my old style wallet and now I can actually use my wireless charging pad in my car which is nice.

Heat is a thing, however Apple tested those things very well to not have the same issue as with Airpower.
I use magsafe every now and then. but I generally prefer wired, half an hour is enough for me to get by.
