Hi! I’m celebrating my birthday in JC this week and will be having dinner with my +1. I’m looking for delicious eats AND crafted cocktails. Any recommendations?

Yup, Cellar 335 unless your +1 has some kind of problem with the Tiki vibe. You could also consider Frankie's which I didn't see anyone else mention. That would be my second choice I think.

I'd skip Cellar. I've never been super impressed with them. Matthew's, Sushi by Bou, or the city. We haven't had a really great spot in JC since 30 Acres closed. Think of Gabriel Kreuther, Cote, Yoshino, Jungsik, etc.

Cellar is a good spot for a bday. It’ll be a tad expensive but the food is generally pretty tasty - maybe more family style, the drinks are crafted cocktails that sometimes come in cool cups, and the overall atmosphere is worth experiencing.

The Archer is great. Cocktails are amazing. Food is great. Service is nice.

Frankie's is my second choice. The food is amazing, drinks are great, and when I've gone they've always had the best service.

Dullboy next. Great menu, ambiance, the cocktails are delicious. I've had mixed service although it never disappoints.

You have to know what to order from the archer. In my opinion they have the best cocktails in jersey city next to lofi and wurst bar. But their food can be hit or miss.
