I know people hate that movie but it's still impressive. There has yet to be another film to achieve that. Keep in mind: the Screen Actors Guild awards, Critics Choice awards, and the Online Film Critics Society didn't even exist yet.

I need the citation on people hating the movie. Sure there are probably some people who don’t care for it, but it’s one of the most acclaimed and beloved movies of all time.

I don't like this movie. It has zero cultural value. It's only purpose is to make you cry. I think Howl's Moving Castle give you much more to think and understand.

You know, you dug up a movie factoid I have never heard, about the movie uniquely sweeping every major award, so thank you for that.

But the other "factoid" of some people hating the movie? No. Some people hating the subject matter, or fringe Holocaust deniers, that I can believe, but hating the movie? There's no there there.

Nearly no one defines the big awards as those so you are right by your own definition. With many other people’s different definition you might also be true.

Who hates Schindler's list? That movie deserved every award if it won that many that it could ever get!

That movie is painful, it broke my soul to watch that but I needed to because I have to remember that this is what humans can do and if it starts to happen again we have to fight it
