I love movies that make you ponder about life, or see it from a different perspective, or with characters actually caring or conscious about the lives they're living..

Three of my favorite movies in this genre are Revolutionary Road (2008), The Hours (2002), and Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring (2003)

Recommend please. Any language will do.

I’d say that both of these movie adaptations dropped a lot of the interesting philosophical aspects from the books.

If you want to engage with the more philosophical themes, you might want to both read and watch them.
