What is for you the best scenes of a character ending his life ?

After a few reasearches, I'm wondering what is for you the best suicide in movies, either because it's highly thematic and end a character's arc in a meaningful way, or simply when you find there is good directing.

Honestly I hate when media does that, it’s like romanticization of suicide, when the person’s scene in Babylon who killed them self played it was slow melodic music playing along side with them smiling, it just paves way for naive minds to believe that suicide is a good way out.

That’s true, you brought about a lot of good points but the romanticization of harmful activities aren’t portrayed as outlets to pain, rarely it ever is, the harmful activities are romanticized to show the truth or beauty in it which can’t necessarily affect naive minds as much as seeing people be happy because they can end their life and suffering by themselves.

The romanticization of such scenes imo also is nice kind of, it shows like an answer, even if it’s wrong, to any character hurting and truth

Ripley in "Alien 3." It's kind of unbelievable that she would be able to hold on to the Queen chestburster as she falls into the fire, but it's great visual and very metaphorically symbolic. At least until "Alien: Resurrection."
