I live in Milan, New Hampshire. Deep in the woods. I need to get to Manchester Airport. Let's say I have no one to help me, but I do have money. I cannot use a car. If someone else were to provide a car and drive it, say in a transport service/limo, then I could use it. Is there any possibility to get where I need to go?

There are private car services, but it is going to cost a lot. If you are willing to pay most services will make the drive to you. Might be able to cut costs by getting a ride to Concord and take the bus to Manch.

It looks like your best hope would be to get yourself to Berlin. Look online for taxis, maybe you have an Uber out there. Grab the bus in Berlin to North Londonderry, From there a quick Uber to MHT airport.

This is the answer. A hotel, inn, hunting lodges, atv groups. The other thought is to post the request on a local facebook (milan, berlin) page. See if there's anyone that wants to make some extra cash to help you out.

Try posting on nextdoor.com and see if there is some college kid or such who can help. Or try one of those task rabbit like services. You aren’t that far up. Someone around you is looking to make a few bucks.

Regardless of your age, see if there’s a local senior citizens center, and call them. They likely have experience in helping people who don’t drive find their way around.

Also, if there’s a local town Facebook group, you might find someone in there.

Would it be possible to move your flight to Boston logan? Concord coach line goes directly there so you would only have to worry about getting to the bus stop.

Why not take the Concord Coach bus? Just schedule your flight around when you’d get to Manchester, which would be in the early afternoon.

https://mauraatyourservice.com/ does airport transportation/incredibly reliable - it'll be expensive though if you're ok with the price, but definitely reach out to her! There aren't many other options up here, I reached out to another private service once but it was soooooooooo expensive.

To reach her (from her website):

-messenger to facebook.com/MauraAnnette Chappelle (you do Not need to friend me)

-if you don’t use facebook please text …. (603)915-1241 (no phone calls)

I'd love to, but I would need to figure out how to get to the bus stop. It's a three and a half hour walk, and while the drive is short, I don't have a car and even if I could I lack the ability to drive currently. I have no family nearby, and the only bus leaves at 7:40 am.

Check out task rabbit. You can hire people that have been verified for all kinds of things including rides. Good luck 🙏🏼

Sorry. Perhaps an add in your local paper for someone with professional references or recommendations.

The idea to contact a local senior center is a good one too. Expect to pay $50+ an hour for their round trip.

Can't help ya, I always drive when I'm up in Milan.

Maybe search in Bethel/Newry since that's the biggest close tourist industry with Sunday River. Might have more options for rides.

All this being said... You said you had money to spend. You're going to spend it.

It's not going to be cheap. It's probably going to be a couple hundred dollars.

I haven’t read all the comments but, how about leaving a day early with whoever you get to drive you, to a motel/hotel near the nearest bus station? Get up early and walk to the bus station. As long as you got time to kill, you may have better luck making your way there. Just a suggestion.

That'd add a hundred bucks onto the cost, and it's still an hour and a half's walk there. That'll probably still be a full hour before sunrise, and I don't know the sidewalk situation.

I’d hit up Rob’s Rides. He is based in Berlin. If he can’t get you to the airport you need he can get you to the lower Irving’s in Berlin where the Concord Trailways bus does a pick up around 7:00 am. I don’t know what time your flight is, but that might be your best bet. If taking the bus is not an option and Robs Rides doesn’t travel far enough south, call Dave’s Taxi. They are out of Littleton and I do recall them transporting to airports, although I don’t know the costs.
