The large variation in totals between places right next to each other is wild.

So between concord and Manchester there's Bow, Goffstown, Dunbarton and Weare and from the looks of it they got 7 to 8 inches of snow. Fantastic my driveway is probably buried and I'm stuck in PA

Elevation, urbanization, and proximity to coast all factored. Typical NE snowstorm.

That doesn't look like urbanization but rather where the rain snow line fell for the storm. Coastal main which is much more rural had the same differences in rain and snow.

In my experience having lived in Nashua for 20+ years, the urban environment did impact snow accumulation in Nashua. I observed this many times during similar events.

I'm in that fun area of Gilford that got about 18 inches of heavy snow. I didn't understand why everyone at work said the storm wasn't too bad until I drove in today and saw for myself how easy some of you guys had it.

I'm in one of the spared areas while my neighbors got clobbered. Problem is I love snow. O well, it made a beautiful drive this weekend and I shouldn't be annoyed that my back isn't sore from shoveling.

Anyone have advice for tire logistics for someone moving mid winter from Florida to NH? Like when to switch the tires out

Edit: We’re moving up mid winter and just want to know when exactly during the drive we should switch it’ll the tires to snow tires
