I'm emigrating to the US this week and will be moving to NH in the next month or two. Can someone please tell me what is the cell network that has the best service in the concord/manchester region?

Thanks

We have Verizon and it seems to be pretty good out here. I will say that you should expect the service drops in service while driving throughout NH regardless of your provider.

I switched from Verizon to Xfinity about a year ago and have a better plan for half the price. I haven’t noticed any difference in coverage.

AT&T has offered very good coverage for us.

I've heard terrible things from people in MA/NH that have tried T-Mobile (poor coverage outside of cities/away from the highways.)

Yup, wife was on t-mobile before we got married. It was horrible anywhere north of southern NH

T Mobile is fine anywhere in Eastern MA. Not great. But I find the cost savings worth it. It definitely gets spotty when Im.traveling frequently to NH and Maine, places on the Cape in MA, away from the interstates. As much as I dislike Verizon because of pricing, nobody compares to the coverage you get from them. I have personal phone on T Mobile and a work phone that is Verizon.

I'm in the Upper Valley and use Google Fi, which runs off of T-Mobile. It's totally fine. I was on Verizon, and I'd say the coverage is about 90% of what I had before. However, it's much cheaper - $25/month (when at 3 lines) for unlimited data.

I have had Sprint (pre T Mobile), Verizon, and now T Mobile. I have had the best luck with the latter in all of NH. Verizon is shit.

Agreed with your assessment, but T-Mobile is slowly expanding into the dead spot areas where even Verizon doesn't cover(like along 25 west of Rumney). I don't have T-Mobile, but it is one of the carriers that Google-Fi rides on.

AT&T….probably the best but you’ll still get service drops regardless

I have two phones.

Verizon is my primary cell and Google Fi is what I use as a 'home phone'. The two different networks were useful when I was search for property to buy. I don't really have any problems with Verizon, but Google Fi has given me coverage in some out of the way places like west of Rumney, etc.

I use Mint mobile..I pay yearly for the 10g a month that comes to about 250$ Been using it for about 4 yrs now and no problems. Left Verizon to go to t mobile and left them for Mint. Best for me by far!

I have mint in Southern NH. There are some dead spots especially when I go to nowhere towns up north and random spots in Bedford, Milford, but I rather save the $500 a year. If an accident happens in a deadzone, I'll just do what any normal person would do and wait for death or rescue. 🤐

I experienced this and waved for someone to stop. Gave them my car info, phone number even though that didnt matter and the mile marker and they called for me when they got service.

Have you had a problem with deprioritization on Mint mobile? I was on Ting, and had to leave because I would often find I could get great signal but no data due to that. I see here that Mint has a QCI of 7, which is second highest priority, I believe.

Verizon is probably your best bet. No matter what carrier, there will still be dead zones throughout the state outside of Southern NH.

I’m on AT&T and drive throughout New England for work and I haven’t had many issues

I would say look at what their international options/add-ons are for calling back home. That might be more important to you as the coverage here is really comparable. Metro PCS offers a lot of cheap international options and no contract.

Thanks but I don't think anyone makes international calls anymore. My US wife has been with me in England for 9 years and she's never once had to make an international call despite talking to her family every couple days. Whatsapp, facetime, zoom etc.

Lools like Verizon is the way to go.

US Cellular has the best coverage now since Verizon dropped 3G but USC will too eventually.

I am in Southern NH and have had Verizon for years. The only time I have dropped calls or cell is a little nook in my basement.

I have AT&T and it seems to be spotty where I live in the Lakes region, that said I have nothing to compare it to.

Version is the best hands down. It's also the most expensive gl

I use T-Mobile because it's cheap and it works everywhere I need it to.

Verizon has the best whole state coverage if you're planning on spending a lot of time up north
