Last Minute Christmas Dinner?

We just had a pipe burst in our apartment, and are without water for minimum 24 hours until a plumber comes.

While we had a whole Christmas dinner planned, neither my gf nor I feel like making it and then living in the mess afterward.

Any suggestions for dinner options? We’re open to eating out, though since we can’t shower it would need to be casual options since we’re now very grimy. Take out is fine too!

The Chinese place across from the Yale children’s hospital entrance is usually open on Christmas, they used to be cash only, not sure if that’s changed in the past year or two though

Mamouns should be open and most of the Chinese and Indian places are usually open.

Menya Gumi is definitely open downtown and delicious. Bar used to promote as open 365 days a year; not sure though

Man our street flooded during the storm the other day and knocked out my water heater. Been without hot water for days 😭 I tried getting the pilot up but I think it's water logged, it won't reignite
