It is the most likely scenario in case of an attack. Thank God they have experts. Imagine Belarus would station all troops at the Russian border to counter a supposed US invasion.

People have been pointing out that this is a good reason for them to avoid going into Ukraine with Russia.

I thought it was the FSB now?
Anyway. Yes. That's possible. A few months ago the complaint was we could invade Russia if NATO were in Ukraine.
There is always a rationale for war.
Did they stop to consider they could invade Poland from Belarus? I think we might consider being proactive here.

Belarus is the Soviet cosplay of eastern Europe. When the USSR collapsed and broke up Russia changed it to FSB, but Belarus decided it wasn't worth changing the stationary and business cards and kept the KGB name.

LOL. I respect that sort of pragmatism. I still have 500 business cards from an old job.
Belarus KGB Leader: "Comrades, we have no independence from old rulers, same as new rulers, so, why should we go through any effort to put lipstick on pig."
Crowd: "Hooray!"
Belarus KGB Leader: "Simmer down now. I expected far less energy and applause. This is going to be a marathon, not a sprint -- save some of that for next year's company potato sack race."

Frankly, as we know how Russia is infamous for its lies and deceits, there should be no European nation standing unprepared at this point, formations in place, troops trained, and ready.
When Russia tells you not to worry or uses your name in a sentence, know they mean you no good and envy your lives.
Make ready.

So? We couldn’t beat farmers in Iraq or shepherds in Afghanistan. Imagine what would happen if the US military had to fight a country with electricity.
