You have no family or job in nyc? it’s expensive here. Maybe consider moving?

I lived here my whole life. I was born in NYC.

My mom spent her life working two jobs to afford to care for myself and my two older brothers who aren't helpful at the moment. And my dad spent his life working to care for us as best he could.

If I can't afford to live here anymore what makes you think I'd be able to afford to move out of here?

The fact I lived here my whole life and it's gotten to the point I have to move away because it's so pricey kinda says something huh?

Also I have family here, they just choose not to be helpful. I have aunt's and uncles and cousins. And they're dealing with their own lives.

I have friends and my bf who live in NYC as well. They're the only ones who have been helping me.

And I want to move away, when I don't have so much debt, I have rent arrears,student loans,credit debt etc.

Maybe spend some of your weed money on paying back the rent you’re owed? We live in a capitalist society and unfortunately if you don’t work and make money you will be left behind.

This whole situation is absurd. Williamsburg is one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the world.
