their pizza is fine but it's not like you can't get good pizza at a million places that don't have insanely stupid ordering systems

They have a normal ordering system now. That shit was obnoxious though. The pizza is still overrated. Drizzling Mike's hot honey on a pizza does not elevate it to greatness.

Where’s your favorite place? Mine is Famous Pete’s, but anytime someone brings it up I like to ask. I have yet to try Pizza Brain or Pizza Jawn.

I live in center city now and my go to pizza spots have been Giovanni's at 15th & Chestnut and Zio's at 13th & Sansom

I ordered from Giovanni’s for a couple years as my go-to. When I tried Pete’s Famous they stole me away.

I know, the crust is so amazing. It’s kinda in the Goldilocks zone between a pan pizza and a thin NYC style, so it’s the best of both worlds.

I don't mind springing for something a little more pricy sometimes as long as I don't have to order my pizza like it's an over hyped pair of sneakers lol

now I'm wondering where else you've had pizza from if that was the best you've ever had

Honestly, I prefer Twisted Ginger’s just a little bit up the hill.

Granted, I’m more partial to thin crust. Pizza Jawn is pretty damn good. It’s ordering there is such a stupid ass nightmare I almost never bother.

I've had it a few times and it seems like it's probably pretty good for what it is, I just don't really like that super thick Detroit style or whatever it is.

They have regular pies, grandma pies with a denser dough with sesame seeds, and Detroit style.

I would love their grandma style if they distributed the cheese better and used a regular tomato sauce. As it is, the middle slices are basically tomato pie, and sometimes the outer slices are 90% dough. And the sauce is really acidic.
