Basically, title says it all. Bought costume and wanted to buy tickets for Renaissance Faire, but every date has been sold out.

I am an immigrant college student, so I want to experience the Halloween atmosphere while I am here, and I am looking for good recommendations for the next week. I am not comfortable around a lot of alcohol, so I am definitely not considering any bars.

Thank you!

With no alcohol, even just 1 or 2, we hear crickets.

I always suggest giving out candy to trick or treaters in your neighborhood in the evening of Halloween. Seeing all the kids having fun warms your heart.

Take a trip out to linville orchards. Pick apples, take the hay ride, corn maze. Classic Americana

If you’re in university city, the kids all trick or treat around between 45th and Baltimore to 42nd and spruce. There will be hundreds of them! ( look up ‘ little Osage Halloween parade’)

Boo at the zoo for this weekend and next

( it’s mostly going to be kids stuff but that’s how Halloween goes. Candy and jack o lanterns for the kids to drunk antics as a young adult back to being about the kids as an adult)

Initially I was supposed to go there with a friend who has a car. Since she has other plans, I don’t know how to travel there. If you are willing to drive 2 college students who will pay for gas, I will be more than happy to attend the event:)
