I always liked it at Old Canteen on Federal Hill

Massimo on Fed Hill, Tomaselli’s is pretty legendary (look it up on Instagram or yelp), and actually, red stripe in Wayland square has a solid one (but definitely not “the best”)

Al Forno (it’s not on the in restaurant menu but you can order it!)

Despite some loser downvoting you, I agree with you on the cost/value prop of Red Stripe. I can get a delicious, hefty burger and salad for like $13. That’s insane.

Basta has always been a favorite of mine. Their tiramisu is fantastic as well imo!

There’s a catering company in seekonk with the best I’ve ever had, don’t remember the name but it was a relatively new company

new to providence and went to Cassarino’s the other day. Had the chicken parmesan and it was great. Big portions too.

WTF, really? How the mighty have fallen. Have had a bad experience there the last 2-3 times I’ve gone. Drinks and great but food is just ehh now.

It’s a requirement that restaurant owners are dicks.

I know we're in the PVD subreddit but my favorite non-homemade chicken parm is at Revival on main street in EG. Their Bolognese is also the best we've had anywhere. Not to mention it's cheaper than most places and I swear it can serve 4 people.

If you’re willing to travel to cranston, mikes kitchen is the GOAT. Get the homemade cavatti with it. Cash only.

I’ll probably be shot for this but I’ve always loved Marchettis in Cranston.

Also a little hidden gem is Cafe Vino on Greenville Ave in Johnston. Chicken parm with vodka sauce at both of those spots.

Pats Kitchen and Mikes Kitchen as well like some others have said.

The best is definitely outside of Providence IMO
