I have lived on the Southside for 5 years between Elmwood and Broad. Real neighborhood. No issues with crime myself despite the persistent negative stereotypes… petty stuff I’m sure happens everywhere… packages taken off front porch etc..

I’ve really enjoyed living on the Southside - I’m right by the cultural center and church. I’ve really enjoyed living amongst my community and have great neighbors. I’ve also had a few inconveniences like you mentioned but I feel safe and we look out for each other when we can.
