He’s made clear that he’s not interested in your feelings. Do you want to be in a relationship where you’re treated this way?
You say you’re at a loss of what to do, but most people would know exactly what to do: leave.
Being insulted, demeaned, and name-called is a pretty easy dealbreaker for most people.
You get to decide how you want to be treated. If someone is treating you poorly, you either choose to accept it or you stop spending time with that person.
Stop trying to convince him that he’s being hurtful and just tell him, “I will not tolerate being talked to like this, and if you do it one more time I will leave.” And then you have to mean it.
Why haven’t you left him?
What would you tell your best friend if her bf was treating her like that?
Get out. Waste no more time on someone that treats you like 💩. You deserve better. Do not say “but I love him”, “but we’ve been together for so long”. People who love each other treat one another w respect always. KNOW YOUR WORTH.
Don't date people who are mean to you.

You can't fix him. You can't change him. There are no magic words to "get through to him."
He knows what he's doing.

This sounds like a very one sided depiction of the situation. If you both are not happy with each other you should just break up.

If you’ve told him multiple times to stop it and he doesn’t, you need to reassess and think if you really want to be with someone who verbally abuses you and demeans you. (99.9% people would leg it if their S.O demeans them and calls them trash all the time)
