The state can't really do anything because the property is federal. They'll bust him for parole violation and then he'll face federal charges I'm sure.

They can buy tablets and in some prisons they have flip phones. All in commissary.

And yet he's not being charged with anything pertaining to this. They just want to use to revoke his bond with an Oklahoma court because he wasn't supposed to leave the state.

I'd be interested into what kind of drone he was using.

He's back in custody. Federal prosecutors don't have to rush to file charges.

Yes. But at this time he is facing no charges for what he did with a drone.

Because it's Federal land! Missouri can't charge him for crimes that occur on Federal property. Do you want the Federal government to prematurely charge him before a complete investigation? Was Springfield Fed Med the only prison he visited? Is he part of a bigger criminal organization?

I never said anything about Missouri charging him. What I did say was he's not being charged for the drone crime. I never said he couldn't be charged in the future. I made a comment based on what is said in the article I posted.

Your comment is very accusatory in that you feel slighted by no charges being filed. That's why people are having issues. Instead of "And yet he's not being charged" you should have something more like "And no charges have yet been filed" Do you see the difference?

My (nurse) mother and (prison guard) stepfather used to work there. They like to brag about how they sold contraband to prisoners.

So cellphones aren't supposed to allowed in prison, and all the prisons would have to do is set up a few interference generating devices in the prison, problem solved. Use radios for the guards.

Maybe I'm missing something here like it also crippling wifi or something.
