Talk about buckling under pressure. The House of Mountbatten Windsor still has say over their fucking media. Isn't Netflix worth more than their entire Crown Estate?

God DAMN the King!!!

Perhaps they could also skip past the world wide televised funeral and parading around of the children as Royal Props to exploit for attention too.

Probably the right decision, it wouldn’t have added anything to the show besides a grotesque voyeurism.

No, it's not and a very cop out structure of storytelling. The Crown is known for its nuance and balanced storytelling so leaving one of the most important factors that led to the monarchy nearing dissolving in the subsequent funeral is hogwash.

It’s not as if they’re skipping her death entirely. Can’t think of anything more nuanced than deciding we don’t really need to watch Diana die to tell this story.

Probably right decision since tons of people on social media get angry very easy.

Yes, it should, because from the story's perspective, she's one of the main characters of the show. We had like 3 seasons worth of her character in the story. Nobody likes an offscreen death of a character who is on half of the shows runtime, do we.

That's it. They're not avoiding the story.
