There was one in a town I lived in once, and you basically drove INTO the store. It was like a car wash, but you drove in, they walked up to your window, you asked for what you want, and they brought it all to your car and put in in the back seat or trunk.

Ohio?

How did you know?

I have family in the Cleveland area and I swear that’s the only place I’ve ever seen stores like that
brock_lee t1_j11b6ws wrote
Well, get on I77 and head south for like 150 miles :)

Haha, I've had the Grand Tour of Ohio during my lifetime so I know exactly what you're talking about. I grew up in the Cincinnati area, went to college at OSU, and live in NEO now.
These drive-thru convenience stores are all over the place. The only thing that sucks about NEO is the nearest Skyline is down in Mayfield...

Yeah Akron has a dick ton of drive thrus

Where? Used to live there, SO was a native and never mentioned it. It would have been a hit with our lifestyle at the time.

There's one in Findlay. Went there far too frequently in college. They actually sold liquor though. Most of them only sell beer and other convenience store items.
bawbrosss t1_j11l6bp wrote
Cause every town in Ohio has those

I lived in Dayton and don't remember this.
I don't remember a ton of living on Dayton though. First in flight!

SW ohio here - plenty of drive thru stores here, although not as many as there used to be.

Brew Through? I've used them in Myrtle Beach, SC and (I think) Pensacola, FL).
Some have funny rules. Like, if there is a lid on it, it's not an "open" container. Or better, they put the straw in, but tear 90% of the paper off.
Most people just get a case or 2 of beer, and pop the trunk on the way to beach week.
The most fun part is thinking of people spending years of their lives inhaling exhaust fumes. Thank God there are fewer diesels...
StanleyAteMyNewShoes t1_j197ewf wrote
Same in NOLA. Go to a drive-thru Daquari stand. They hand you the glass and the straw has a little paper hat on it.
throwawayforj0b t1_j11iw5y wrote
That's the way Brew Through works

That’s how it works in drive through bottle shops in Australia.

They have these in Mexico too.
