It was town matter that the town handled. I've got my own reasons for disliking Scott. But this would be a waste of the governor's time. What would be the benefit of him being there? I know you just want to get downvoted and fight with strangers, but I'll take the bait. I don't see how Scott going 3 plus hours by car to hold hands about the scary gun club man being intimidating and annoying benefits the state as a whole so explain how it does like I'm five years old.

I think the threat was what Rama was pointing to, not his opinion on Slate Ridge.

Edit: And now we have people defending the threat. Unsurprising. The anti-Rama circlejerk is quite the thing to behold here.

But what benefit would his presence been? Don't you think that his protection detail and the media circus with him would've just heightened the tension? Also giving slate ridge a general forum to be seen?

Oh no, did I offend you?

Either way, I didn't say all guns are bad. I said domestic terrorist scumbags from out of state who want to train other domestic terrorist scumbags shouldn't be welcome in our communities. Other piece if shit scumbags who would defend or downplay domestic terrorist activities should also not be welcome in our communities.

No I don't get offended by strangers on the internet. I do get annoyed by Rama's postings though. From what I've read the town took care of the issue. You obviously are significantly sensitive to this topic. I didn't know Rama was posting to whine about an anonymous threat. I mean here you are preaching your pov to me. You lumped me in with the group, swore at me told me I'm unwelcome all because I don't see the benefit of Scott going down their and fanning flames. You must come from a serious place of entitlement and privilege, because admitting youre scared of the bully is accepting the bully, so no the scary gun club man does not scare me personally. Fuck off and I hope you leave your windows down every time it rains this year.

I'll never understand why so many of you refuse to use the block function on these platforms. Block Rama and you will never be annoyed by him again. It's quite simple.

As for the rest, that's cute. Anyway, I'm going to continue to speak out strongly against literal domestic terrorist swine and anyone dumb enough to downplay their intentions. Not sure if you've noticed, but speaking out against these things isn't exactly "being scared of the bully." It's quite the opposite, actually. Downplaying what these folks are up to is actually quite cowardly though.

Or else.... I'll downvote you etc. It's not cool or excusable but I cant speak for Rama. But Rama also needs to understand that stirring the pot politically is going to invoke the crazies too.

Cool? His post is pointing out the threat. You've now taken this up as your cause for some reason to both relitigate slate ridge and to now downplay the threat? This appears to be a block and move on situation. Best of luck with your search for an argument.

Years ago I was standing outside the State House with a sign that read "When it comes to marijuana, the feds are full of shit". At one point a passing legislator (I recognized him) commented I shouldn't use foul language as kids would be coming and going.

"I"ve already won," I told him, "because you're going to remember what my sign says, and my message is now a permanent part of your thinking."

And so it is with you, I've already won. I'm there, my message makes sense and is smart. The titillating part for you is that now you can read sensible writing while you tell your friends and family how bad what I write is.

I get it.

Fed cannabis policy is shit. But what kind of clown 🤡 protests? With a sign that says “shit” at a place kids visit?

Same sort of clown that posts “I've been told on multiple occasions that threatening words and behavior are not themselves illegal: but I don't care” then expects support when he gets out trolled by a fellow troll 🧌 pointing out how absurd your point is with a joking threat. Duhhh.

It’s not your opinions it’s how terrible you are at expressing them and your cross posting nonsense. Take your victory into the weekend.

Bahaaa ha. Ok since you opened the corn for popping. Why go to a state house to protest federal policies. Ramen, isn’t that like shitting in a urinal? Pissing into the wind? Go play with all your friends on r/politicsvermont. It’s such a spirited bunch over there. So many ppl engaging with your brilliant pros.

Did ya get a sunburn that fateful day in front of the state house you brave brave soul? or frostbite? Support NORML, make your donations? Or are they too Scott adjacent?

Because the state was debating state level policy and there was a lot of talk about what the feds would or wouldn't accept.

But don't let asking for clarification get in your way of feeling whatever it is you feel.
