I know there have been previous questions about indoor basketball courts in DC but my question is specifically on trying to figure out what gyms or fitness clubs have an indoor basketball court. I am NOT interested in DC rec centers because they are closed on Sundays. As far as I know, only Equinox on 22nd and WSC in Columbia Heights have basketball courts. Any others?

Those are the only ones I’ve seen. And that equinox is a dump for the prices they charge. It’s crazy to me that this city has such a shortage of indoor basketball courts

And in case anyone is wondering, the monthly cost for that Equinox is…wait for it…$250 a month plus a $300 initial fee!

About the equivalent of something like Orangetheory, or Barry’s Bootcamp. In those terms, Equinox is the much better deal.

This is the thing people always miss. Yes it’s expensive but you get full gym plus unlimited classes. It doesn’t take many paid classes to equal the price.

Yep. I think it’s just sticker shock for people who know that PF is $10 a month and think all gyms are the same.

Even outside the city, it's hard to find. I have a OneLife membership and I have to go to Tysons for a court. They have an indoor court in Bethesda as well but it sucks.

The St James is the answer in VA

St James also costs an arm, leg, and first born child.

I joined OneLife because I used to live by the Capitol Hill gym. I would try to drive out once a week to shoot around. Now that I moved I'm probably going to quit. I've found their clubs and equipment dated.

I'm probably going to check out LA Fitness and see how their courts are.

Note if you have FEPBlue health insurance they have deals for gyms. It is a little pain in the ass, but you can save some money on join and monthly fees.

Is this the former results gym? They had a basketball court.

Also a OneLife member. We go to Tysons mostly for the racquetball courts, though.

The Georgetown Law gym has a really good indoor basketball court. I THINK they allow you to join if you’re not a student (had intramural games there a few times).

I didn’t know about Georgetown Law but sadly it’s only open to current students or alumni
