I’m wondering if the date January sixth has anything to do with his charges

How dare you slander his name with this false accusation.

It was his wife he pressured into interracial gangbangs, and she had her cognitive faculties diminished by a stroke years before it happened. It was his daughter's text talking about it that were leaked.

A good opportunity for you to elucidate for others how even a long time ago your possession of weed charges were (most likely) dropped and if pushed to sentencing resulted in no prison sentence.

So they can stop living in a fantasy world that out prisons are filled with low level drug possession people.

I think so -- in my book it involves actually threatening someone and taking the vehicle. Not crimes of opportunity like jumping behind the wheel of a car someone was dumb enough to leave running unattended. Seems like current parlance is just about every auto theft is a carjacking.

Yeah, you're right. all they did for my weed possession charges was hold me long enough for both my jobs to fire me, have me show up to piss in a cup during business hours once a week for months (causing me to lose 20% of the earnings from my new job), and put me on the stand right after three dirty old men who were diddling kids, as if my possession of weed was just as bad as them. I even asked the judge why tf I was up on the stand after the gross pedos, and he was all "if you don't like it, bother the statehouse."

The black guys in the car with me didn't get let out of jail for a long time, though. A very long time.

Edit: stupid fucking app.

Oh well. It doesnt happen.

Less than 4% of the US State prison population is in for possession as their greatest crime.

So… lets do some logic.

Possession… probably not weed? More likely a harder substance.

Which beibgs up the next point.. when 90+% of all sentences are the result of a plea you can look at that 4% as a remainder from more serious charges.

Ie found with drugs and a weapon. Plead to drug charge but got time because they should as a result of the weapon (or assault or robbery etc)

So anyways.. not too idiotic of a thing to know.

It feels like that it’s gotten much worse in the last year or so on this sub. Seems to have gotten worse around the primaries, which is around the time I moved to the burbs myself.

Also see something likewise occurring in comments on local stories in the WaPo.

What's that got to do with anything? That jackass from GA just got his way. That country-ass bullshit will be here soon, all "this is how we do thangs in Mississippi, boy!"

They'll have chaingangs doing all the landscaping for old plantation houses that need to be disassembled and imported piece by piece from Florida.

They'll import all their human rights abuses, fuck everything up, make mushrooms illegal again, and fuck with everyone.

But really, who’s the injured party here?

Sure it’s illegal to have a gun in DC, but if he didn’t brandish it or use it against anyone, did he really need to be thrown in jail?

Look, he just had a sarin bomb but didn't actually set it off, can't we just give the man a break?

Just say you’re okay with using state-sanctioned violence against an individual who harmed nobody and move on with your day.

It’s okay to be an authoritarian, but there’s no need to be a dick about it.

Carrying a gun around creates an elevated risk of harm to everyone in the vicinity. A latent threat of violence is still harmful to a peaceful society, even if that threat is not ultimately acted upon.

Carrying something whose primary intended use is to kill other human beings without overwhelming need is something that a functional society quite justly punishes. Just say you're afraid of black people.
