The commanders positive attribute is that they are still a top 10 money making franchise in the league.

One of the accusations is that the team is cooking the books. Forbes just takes the person's word for it - look at how they list Trump, for instance.

Not enough to impact the revenue numbers Forbes is reporting on. That’s was minimal stuff of shared revenue streams from what I saw. Also the value of the team went up more then a billion dollars last year to this year. Financially the Commanders are a very successful business.

The joke is that Snyder is accused of keeping two sets of books. The NFL is a profit sharing operation with certain carve outs (mainly box suites. hence why new stadiums in major markets prioritize those in new construction. But I digress.) Supposedly Danny boy has been cooking the books so he doesn't need to share his obligatory portion with the other owners.

And I can't imagine that's trending upward these days.

It is and outside of the pandemic year in 2020 their revenue has consistently increased year over year.

I grew up on the team, am a lifelong fan, and know plenty others. None of us go to the games or buy merchandise anymore and haven’t for years. I am sure there are other ways to generate revenue but idk anyone who spends money on the team anymore.
