His voters see him as their flesh and blood. Some even said if they saw Erdogan in bed with their mother it would be the mothers flooziness. Im quoting them btw not my own words you can google it if you wish.

All in all these people would torch evryone and everything to the ground if Erdogan ordered it. Last summer he said " White Turks keep your dogs on leashes" which resulted in his voters ganging up and hunting street dogs for 3 days streaight whihc resulted in piles of dog corpses being made with thousands slain by brutality and poison.

A mere statement of dislike was enough to galvanize people to do this.
