Came here to say Lancaster. Walkable, affordable, tons of charming architecture, cool restaurants and bars. And the surrounding countryside has great farm stands, dairy products, wineries etc.

These renderings always depict 500% more trees than you actually get in the end because everyone knows trees beautify a space but no one wants to actually invest in and maintain them.

What is it with all these people saying "don't take the El" . Ive taken it daily (admittedly during commuting hours) for almost 5 years without incident. Seen some unpleasant things but that's about it. I agree septa could do a lot more to make it a more secure and clean experience but just "don't take it" seems to be a bit excessive.

From the very beginning (pre septa key), integration with apple and google pay should have been the goal. This QR code deal also seems like a huge waste of time, money, and effort if the subsequent goal is still (the looong overdue) tap to pay integration with phones and credit cards.
