Thanks. I didn't think it'd be too hard to find hockey in the area.

We'll be in the south eastern area so Bolton looks like a bit of a hike. Norwich is pretty close though. Thanks

Reply to YUNZII Keynovo IF98 with Gateron Yellows by 412gage
Just got this delivered, and I can't be happier. It's my second keyboard, but it was really the first one where I knew what I was looking for. I wanted a backlit hotswappable 96% with Gateron Yellows. This one, in particular, allows you to remove the top right 4 keys and keep a badge, which is cool.
I have the YUNZII Coffee Cat keycaps coming in the mail, so I'm going to immediately switch those out and replace the black cable with the white coiled one that came with this.
The typing feels amazing with this, by the way, and I love the compact size of it, even with the number pad.

Yeah I’m speaking purely about developers, although I know very well of these firms that buy up properties as mentioned in the article. Shady practices aren’t uncommon, unfortunately.

You're gonna have to provide the link to what you're referring to, because I didn't hear of that. I'm referring to the non-profits that I used to work with in the Pittsburgh and Philly areas that were building affordable housing. Some of them are pretty rough but a lot of them are genuine mission-driven developers.

A lot of them are non-profits, as well.

We've looked into it. I won't get into the financials, but it's just not in the cards yet. Aside from that, we're also waiting to use that program and get our first house / condo when we find an area we like. We'd rather rent short term in the chance that we don't like where we move. Thankfully, we both have fully remote jobs now, so that part isn't really an issue.

Don't be sorry, I appreciate it. Our dog isn't on any restricted breeds lists so that's not an issue. We are actually trying to stay a little outside the city and more south (below the airport and closer to the coast, but not really Narragansett. More like North Kingston, East Greenwich, etc. Thank you for that information.

Yes, but we only just started considering a house. We like the apartment that we applied for and are not against living in one for a year or so until we find something, but a house is now on the radar if we can swing it and meets the criteria.

Appreciate the insight. Luckily, we're on the wait list for an apartment with that criteria, but I imagine the small landlord market is completely different than going through a property management company.

Thanks. That was my initial thought when considering renting a house with a smaller landlord. I figure it would be harder to get tenant protection. The apartment that we are on the wait list for is for about $1,700.
