Context for those of us not up on the happenings in Jonesport.

The building has been approved for pre-construction but is being challenged by Sierra Club and others. It looks to be moving through the process and getting by all the appeals but these things take time as it will likely go to court next after getting through Planning and Appeals Boards locally.

The site is huge and the detailed drawings are very interesting.

Revision installed ours in 2022 (2600 sf home from ~ 2000)

~$40,000 (27 Panels)

They do financing with Mosaic and VSECU - It's a 25 year loan @ 6% interest (no money down)

Loan Payment : $215 Avg CMP bill (for us): $185

**Revision does heat pumps, but I suggest going with another installer as ReVision will only install in easy access locations.

Things I liked: Nice people, made sure I understood the process, easy to work with, good support (walked me through issue with data not transmitting)

Things I didn't like: Communication after installation. I haven't heard from them other then when I had issues.

The Rail system was quite extensive (Link)

If you had a farm, you had a horse to get around locally.

IF you did manufacturing, you lived in mill owned housing and shopped at mill owned stores.

Coastal Maine has remained the same, with people living closer to, and working at, the ports. Unloading ships and loading them onto rails in Portland/Brunswick/Rockland/Eastport

North of the rail system was mostly the rough rural it still remains today. Think north of Greenville/Mt. Katahdin.

At Zero degrees, a battery has about 70% of its starting power

At -30 degrees, a battery has about 20% of its starting power

Also, the amount of power needed to crank an engine increases as the temperature drops. Will just leaving your car in the cold have little to no impact, yeah probably, but if you need it it's best to have been prepared by having the engine and battery warmed up.

Just had mine installed by ReVision and they were great about getting all the info, install and communication. I am in Northern York County and they came here out of their Portland office.

Reached out in June for consult. Had to have shingles replaced, and they got me installed in mid-November.

27 panels, took 2 days to install.
