is this supposed to be rapped over or for something else? it's missing a hook melody.

How would you "whistle" this beat to someone so that they remember what song you are talking about.

right now, it sounds cool n just drummy but I think more or one instrument would elevate it. Like that metallic brass in the background could be amplified with horns to sounds grandiose and easier to remember

this sounds great, a complete song. I was wondering what was missing so I compared to other songs in the genre. and I think it's missing overall compression. everything sounds great but every things sounds spread out living on their own universe vs living in one universe. The drum can be bussed together and compressed together. The guitar could have more saturation/ compression to cut through. apart from that, the composition sounds great. You prob did all that already but I think it could be even more glued together.

this is the beginning of a great beat. with more compression on the claps and kick. cleaner/sharper high hats and a big 808 under the kick. Could really elevate it to a proper beat. a long tailed reverb on the horn would make it even more huge.

didnt know what to expect with the instruments playing lol but your voice is pretty dope. I would recommend just a clean great guitar melody with a nice reverb to give space and your voice. should come out pretty beautiful.

the synth kinda overshadows your voice which possess a lot of emotions

I see what you were trying to accomplish. The synths really sound clean and beautiful. The drums sounds a bit dry and lifeless, as if being played by a depressed robot.

maybe more reverb & delay on the drums, and automation to give them move movements like the synths.

this is also a long song so you could add some sounds fxs here and there that only come in once so that it doesn't sound as loopy.
