That's what I get for trying to help. I would also be cranky if I had 3 kids.
I didn't even mention how weirdly empty the "loaded" baked potatoes are, because I was trying to be nice.
I will say you did a great job with the Dorito breading, it's the only thing redeeming this plate.

Yikes. Overcooked green veg does taste bad. It develops sulphur compounds. Try grilling/pan searing it for 1-2 minutes, then toss in the parm butter. Tastes way better when it's not mushy.

Ya, it looks tragically overcooked.

Elk can be farmed here, so you will see it on sone restaurant menus. Moose is way harder to come by, you need to win a draw for a license to hunt it, or be indigenous. Maybe booking with a hunting guide would be your best bet.

Elk and moose taste very different. Elk is a lot more like deer, but moose is it's own thing. Extremely lean, yet very "soft" meat. I usually do my moose as a steak or a roast.
I think they vary in myoglobin content of the muscle. Elk is way darker, almost purple and moose is more pink.

Canadians eat real moose, not elk that's called moose. Just need to know somebody that hunts.

According to my Google machine, a porterhouse is a min on 1.25 " from bone to widest point of the tenderloin side of the T bone. All porterhouses are T bone steaks, but not all T bones are porterhouses

No matter what you pay, it's foolish to buy food to throw away. If you don't like eating fat, I'd suggest not buying fatty cuts of meat.

Why would you pay $12/lb for fat you're not going to eat?

-itis suffix in Latin means swelling, not infection. Ex) arthritis, tendonitis have nothing to do with infections.
