Huh, my rainx ones are doing okay a year in. I might try the silicone ones recommended after these.

Ah, gotcha. So not really a dishwasher thing, more of a mishandling thing.

Is that because the jets in there are just that powerful?

Bro if you have a lot of rocks the Klein Grizzly is what you want. You can tear large rocks out with that thing and it's designed for nasty pry jobs like that. I've jumped on mine to get enough lever power, which I do not recommend. But absolutely you can stand on it.

I have a Maytag front loader that's been flawless despite tons of use for maybe 6 years now. If you care about water usage at all you'll want a front loader. If you're in a very wet climate or otherwise just don't have any concerns about water usage a top loader has less to go wrong.

I'm just saying if you really want an outdoor municipal grade, that would be the approach.

I meant the best is 6x6 posts on a concrete slab with thick wall 1-2" inch steel tube running through the posts.

I use the cloud line ones you have on the right for running in cooler weather, I like them a lot.

Best ones I ever had were REI house brand. Easily the most durable. Everything else (people socks, darn tough, etc) I get a couple of years from them.

We use Dynarex irrigation syringes 60cc in a professional ems capacity, they're pretty solid. I'm not sure how dead-on the markings are on the side since it's just an irrigation syringe, so if you're mixing medication you'd want to do that in another vessel.

Yeah I run with my phone sometimes but it's more complicated. Notifications can come through if you forget to disable them, the battery life is much shorter than a dedicated mp3 player, and you need some form of holder to keep it from bouncing everywhere.

I had a SanDisk clip that I liked a lot. I used it in the gym and running because it was tiny and didn't bounce around and need thoughtful concern like a phone.
But anything with a battery is inherently not BIFL. But I certainly got my money's worth.

I'm in the sierra, basically just snow / ice or high altitude sun. Have you tried that rainx treatment stuff? I used that in New England and it blew me away. Often didn't even need to use my wipers.
