It wasn't Seamless, but this happened to me with either GrubHub or Postmates one time. The app said the food had been delivered, but it was nowhere to be seen. They re-sent the order which did arrive, but the delay was annoying. Do they ban drivers who do this? Between the ridiculous fees and the apparent shortage of drivers that makes every delivery take an hour or more even if it's from a restaurant that's nearby, I try to avoid that shit as much as possible. If a restaurant also does their own delivery, I'll choose that 100% of the time because it's always faster and less expensive.

New Year's Eve = Amateur Night. It's the best night of the year to throw a party at your own place, go to a party at a friend's house, or just stay home. Unless you love shit service that's worse than the normal shit service that restaurants offer these days, standing in line, realizing your non-VIP ticket to a gala doesn't even include the option of sitting down all night, realizing the included drinks will run out by the time you get to the end of the line, or being around people who can't handle their alcohol really overdoing it early in the evening.

That last point regarding the never-ending negative headlines surrounding Snyder and the team is what gives me hope that he'll be ousted. How long will the NFL tolerate an organization with absolutely ZERO positive attributes, a dwindling fanbase and the worst stadium in the league with little hope of securing a replacement?

>In the U.S. taking public transit is considered something "poor people" do.

And sadly this is increasingly what Metro is becoming, as the agency shows absolutely no signs that it's capable of returning frequency of service to the levels that people with the means to have different options considered normal before the pandemic and the 7K train issues.
