Exactly. It was good before. It's stupidly good now. The pasta, the salad, the fries are all even better now. Plus they give these awesome potatoes along with the fries. Plus the price is still good. I think it's cheaper than Wright's still. Highly recommend.

I lived near Pizza Fair for about 7 or so years. And their fish and chips is pretty good. But for me it's all about the buffalo chicken pizza. God damn.

I love Jamiroquai. And they're a fantastic live band! OP, if you're a fan of them, you might like the Brand New Heavies and Incognito. They were part of the acid jazz grouping of bands, and Jamiroquai was also part of that movement. Buckshot LeFonque was another. And you can probably put Digable Planets into that category too. Then there are Neo Soul artists like Jill Scott.

Absolutely right.

I generally do mine this way. Cover it with water in a large pot and bring to a boil. Skim off any of the junk that rises to the top and then add the pickling spice, either from the packet or from a container of it (which is what I do). Bring it down to a simmer and let it go for a couple of hours. Usually 2 to 2 1/2 hours will do. Then move it to a baking sheet. I generally line mine with foil. Heat your oven to 400. Some people add a glaze or something to it, which I've done and it's excellent that way. A mustard based one would be the way to go. Then roast it in the oven for about 30-40 minutes or so.

It's truly the way to go.

I remember going there as a kid. Luke's Inn was our usual place for Chinese food (or, going WAY back, Bing Sum on Water Street), but occasionally we'd switch it up with Jade Tree. Honestly of all the things I miss about living in Warren, and of that entire East Bay area in general, it's the Fall River style chow mein.

Pastryland in Smithfield (my #1), Vienna Bakery in Barrington, Wright's Dairy Farm in North Smithfield, Deluise Bakery in Providence, and the Original Italian Bakery in Johnston.
