There’s a huge antique mall on Broad behind the Krispy Kreme but for the life of me I can’t remember what it’s called. But they have a ton of furniture, art etc. I’m not too sure about prices there though. I’m sure it varies by vendor.

Also from Roanoke!! The first time I went to the Short Pump mall after only ever going to Valley View, my mind was blown. I had to call my friend bc I got lost. Couldn’t believe how big it was. Part of me still can’t lol

Ooh sounds like Purplesaurus Rex. My mom would always make that with us- a pitcher with half lemonade mix and half grape Koolaid mix. Delicious.

I just always assume the other person is going to do the dumbest shit possible. If I’m driving I assume the pedestrian WILL step in front of my car. If I’m walking I assume the car WILL NOT stop. It’s unfortunate I have to do that but it’s just safer that way.

Yeah. I merge early when there’s plenty of open space because why would I not? Problem is like another commenter said when ppl think they HAVE to merge early and fucking stop in the merge lane because merging from a full stop into 80mph traffic is somehow safer than the zipper /s

They’ve been sold out everywhere for MONTHS. There’s apparently a shortage of the peppers they use due to some weather related factors.

(I think) There are some jobs you can still get fired from where it’s a safety matter, such as a forklift driver (idk why that was my first thought). It’s still illegal federally so you can technically still get fired for it. Please correct me if wrong.

I- I mean my friend- always just fills out her ballot whenever she gets it and then has a friend sign at earliest convenience. Not like anyone would ever know.

I think they’ll probably be happy to keep taking your money until you “move back”, so that might not work.

Reply to Exercise classes on the Midlo side that are super-beginner friendly? by Solid-Technology-448
IDK how helpful this will be, but I take Zumba on thursday evenings at the Tuckahoe YMCA (I’m sure there’s other Ys out there but I can’t speak to the quality of the classes at them). Candice, the instructor, is amazing. Most of the people in the class are regulars but there are a few beginners every week and she’s always so good. She will subtly make eye contact if you’re doing a move wrong and demonstrate it again without actually calling you out or making you feel singled out in front of everyone; she’s really welcoming and kind. She’s a larger woman as well, IDK if I’d say obese but she’s not your typical “fit gym girl” body type. I can say confidently that she and all the regulars there would be very accepting of you. IDK how close it is to you though, so I’m sorry if this isn’t helpful.
