Don't get trapped into thinking that you will do only one thing during your life. You may have many careers. Also, don't think that whatever you pick to do is who you are. Your job/career is just what you do to pay the bills. Pick an apprenticeship that has wide application and that pays well. Sock the money away and keep your expences low. After you are settled, you can change careers if you so desire.

Food for thought: It can be an extremely difficult and lengthy process to simply fire an employee, especially for large companies. For this reason, some companies will hire exclusively from temp agencies. If a worker isn't working out, just call the agency and ask them to send a different person in the morning. No HR fuss!

Contact the company HR dept and ask what temp agencies they use and for what type of temp. Some larger national companies with state or local divisions may have HR departments at each level. Some have contracts with specific temp agencies for specific types of temps like IT, nursing, admin, janitorial, accounting, etc. Ask the questions.

Identify your target companies. Find out what temp agency they use. Take any job offered. Once you are in, you will have access to internal hiring boards not accessible to the public, and to hiring managers. Source: That is how I went from a lowly temp data entry job to a perm senior position in two years.

Wow! Quite the gaslighting fear-monger, aren't you!

What would you do if I told you that Russia instigated this entire war by unjustifiably invading a sovereign country? Also, what if I reminded you that the largest modern tax breaks for the top 10% have devastated our national economy? Open your eyes? The modern Repub party also wants to end Medicare and Social Security. Stop voting against your own interests. Support your progressive candidates.

So, you're justifying ghosting someone? This is very cowardly. As another pointed out already, it is very situational. If another human being has invested themselves in you personally, it speaks volumes about your character how you treat them when it comes to end a relationship. This is not a pro life tip. It is the poor advice from a coward. Someone should have a word with your mother on how she failed to properly raise you.
