NYPD badges? Must have slipped my mind that cops just throw their badges on their cars when they park. As a form of showing force and dominance to the citizens.

When somones arrested snd their car is taken for evidence. Its held at the precinct until its either released or taken to the impound lot. You're just automatically assuming its all cops personal cars to fit your narrative.

That possession of a forged instrument is for those fake license plates that this sub complains about.

Correct. I cant remember if it was the end if October or the middle of November. But all precients have to send officers from each tour to cover the subway stations in their commands. People are easily hitting at least 40 hours of FORCED overtime a month. Who knows how long itll last but it is working. But forcing officers to work an 8 hour day on patrol, then do a footpost for hour, 5 days a week is not manageable or doable by most people. Especially with families

No one understands qualified immunity and it's hilarious. For example, if a cop did something that is againsts the law, such as an illegal search. And its prooven in a court of law that it was illegal. The victim can then sue the cop personally. Qualified immunity will not protect the cop.
If the cop acted legally, in good faith and did nothing wrong, then they victim can only sue the city due to qualified immunity protecting the cop.
Qualified immunity isnt an absolute shield against any lawsuit. It only covers the cop if they did everything legally.
