It’s a cool theory that would have worked better if they had made Mason former SBS rather than SAS considering that Bond was always a Commander in the navy rather than a Lieutenant Colonel in the army. But that is a minor quibble.

This has been adapted many times but I think the best version is the 1974 version “And then there were none” (it does have a different title that was of the time and not appropriate anymore) this is a classic Agatha Christie story so if you like Glass Onion and Murder / Death on the Orient Nile Express then it should be right up your street. It had a dark multi part tv adaptation recently too if you want a modern interpretation.
