I mean people have already been able to trick iPhone cameras to unlock FaceID. And if they wanted to deepfake my voice, they’d have to find recordings of me(which are probably less common than pictures of me). I don’t have an active social media presence.

Yeah both have their pros and cons. Like I would have loved to have touchID during Covid when mask use was a necessity or at night when the room is dark. FaceID is useful when you can’t use your hands. I wonder if VoiceID could be a thing. Feels like I’d solve both of those.

The thing about PCs is they’re customizable. You don’t have to upgrade all at once if you can’t afford it.

TouchID was the bomb when I have it. The thing I don’t like about FaceID is it’s almost impossible to use in some situations.

It’s easy to scale up when it takes one wind farm to generate 100% of your power. The US energy grid is massive.

Can’t wait for the 100 page report from US intelligence detailing how the weapons are being hidden, transported, received. Satellite photos of shipments, what part of Ukraine they’re being used in etc.
For all it’s faults, US intelligence is rarely if ever wrong. If they say China is seriously considering it, than they are or were.

Right. I’d be like if as an example American hunters protested a wind farm b/c it made deer less common in an area. Maintaining ecosystems are important to regional diversity, but at some point you’re going to have to draw the line with what’s necessary to transition a green energy and what is essentially performative.(culture/traditions are important but not a necessity when it comes to saving the planet).

The US military is almost a shadow government. Not in the sense that they’re clandestinely manipulating events or whatever but they have a bigger budget(gdp) than many countries and very little oversight(compared to the civilian budget).

We have a free market, Google should try competing in it and stfu. Same with Elon and his cronies.
