The tribes where I live get bricks of government cheese. For a short period of time the US Federal government gave out roughly $450-$550 to every tribal member, a one time "reperation" for stolen lands (2012-2013)
Certain tribes here even give you land when you gain membership.

By the tribes as you stated.
I was specifically talking about Ojibwe when I wrote this, I know of a few other tribes as well but the one in most familiar with is Ojibwe because that's part of my lineage.
For us we tried to grow our numbers in 2010-2014. The tribe then voted against that and overturned family lineage once again in favor of blood quantum.
We do have casinos also but not big name or big money casinos. The Ojibwe tribes with major casinos make it next to impossible to claim membership through law.

Good question, I honestly have no idea
It's weird because I have friends who are clearly of native American descent, who's kids are clearly of native American descent and they can't gain membership to their associated tribes but my family all has their membership; through an ex cheif, from the 1800s from one of our tribes here. We're what I can only describe as Caucasian.
🤷♂️.
If the tribes would like to keep their status as soveirgn nations they are going to have to change their constitutions in the next decade.

You get free government cheese and maybe a reparation of $500. Getting accepted into a tribe that has a casino on their land, even with blood quantum is pretty goddamn difficult.
They know what you're about and no they don't wanna share their tribal money with you.

Several tribes changed their constitutional standings around 2010-2012.
They opened up their tribes to accepting "Any direct descendent of a living tribal member".
Meaning If you had a grandma or grandfather in the tribe but your blood quantum was minimal and not enough to claim tribalship on your own you could still apply and become a tribal member.
This has since been overturned but it is once again in talks as native Americans in general are becoming extinct in the terms of blood quantum. There will no longer be living members of tribes with a blood quantum of 50% to 100% in the next 50 years and tribal numbers will become obsolete unless laws change.

REAL time A.I.
Deep Fakes. This is a major problem politically as people, even the smartest of people are starting to be unable to tell it apart from the real thing.

Ultrasonic transmissions. UHF
We typically think of them as safe and they generally are.
Over air, etc, used to see images behind objects (Ultrasound) but governments around the world are starting to use ultrasonic technologies and microwave tech as weapons.
There's currently a DEW available to the military that sends direct microwaves at targets to heat up water molecules on the skin and create an instantaneous burning sensation.
There's also been reports from politicians in China and Havana of "Ultra sonic" weapons being used against them "Havana Syndrome". Some of them experienced measurable amounts of brain damage similar to a concussion after hearing loud and disorienting piercing noises in their homes.
Ultrasonic transmissions have also been used to passively steal information from hard drives. To see what's on your TV screen and to passively energize other types of spy devices through resonance such as piezoelectrics.
In more recent years governments have been using their understanding of UHF to see human shapes in rooms before entry with wifi router signals.
Police currently use certain versions of parametrics as well "LRAD". Used as helicopter loud speakers to both play "curfew tones" at riots and major sporting events such as the Super Bowl as well as to bounce messages off walls at long distances.
Maybe not what you're looking for but it is kinda interesting that the same tech we use for Radio, TV and cellular communication is now being amplified and utilized a weapons tech.

Or maybe our days just get shorter by a fraction of a second and that mass loss is made up for in centrifugal forces.

In terms of clinical psychology none of us are future seeing psychics.
Our minds have a predisposition to searching for patterns so if you are seeing "patterns" or perhaps having ideas of tragedy as a future event it is a reflection of your own personal interpretation of the world whether or not those events happen "a narcissism". Statistically any single one of us can make an accurate prediction because of the infinite possibilities of life and all of those predictions will have a human understanding or some reality in it as they are based on this pattern searching survival technique evolution left our brains with and human language or interpretations in general.
A lot of people will read the original post and think wow "your instinct is telling you something" but what I see is a narcissism in its defined character. A person holding on to a belief that they can "see the future" and in holding on to that belief is following a pattern of their minds creation that's leading them to the emotions or the feelings of being super natural. Or a grand delusion.
Is it healthy? Idk. But when someone comes to me with "omens" or "conspiracies" I definitely have to question ones belief systems as reality almost never aligns with their beliefs. Included in the mix is a lot of self seeking behavior. A lot of people I encounter with these supernatural belief systems end up creating turmoil for themselves so they can feel right about their omens.

I don't know if you understand this but you are describing a narcissism with your psychic mind not an ability to "see future situations before they happen".

Because unless your relatives want to be incestuous, there's no way to keep the current blood quantum requirements.
