I always appreciate the sun reminding me where I’m at, just in case I’ve forgotten

Great shot btw!

I got a 3 bed 1 bath 1500 sq feet in RI for around that price, but it needed a good chunk of work. I looked at a place that was like 800 sq feet, immaculate inside, and they wanted I think 280.

You’re either gonna get a shoebox for under 300k or a house that needs some love. And I consider myself lucky with the place I got, even with the work we had/have to put in

Thanks!

We got exceptionally lucky; just right place/right time to get what we did. The roof has to be done sooner than later, but otherwise the bones of the house are in good shape (furnace, water heater, etc). It’s definitely a tough market, but all I can say is hang in there, and something will find it’s way to you

It really depends on what you’re looking for. My fiancé and I got a house for 265 in November, but it has work that needs to be done to it. We had to put in a solid month of work painting, hanging drywall (which wasn’t something we had expected to do) and getting floors refinished/replaced before we moved in. There’s definitely stuff out there for a lower price. It just depends on how much work you’re willing to do as well as what you can budget in regards to work after purchase

Also a lot of people got dogs during COVID when they were stuck at home and didn’t train them right. Now the dogs are full grown and they’re just letting them loose. Not that morons haven’t always existed with their dogs unleashed, but it’s probably why it’s popping up more and more

It’s very weird to me fire departments started doing the same thing with a red line. Like, I don’t believe anyone was ever going after firefighters, because their entire job is to stop people from dying and they’re well respected overall.

That was my thought about Kalus especially. Like there’s ways republicans can win state offices in New England, and it’s not by running someone whose political idol is Ron desantis. Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire have all had Republican governors as of late, and I know for mass and Vermont at least, we’re fairly moderate people chill on social issues. It really makes me wonder what the local party is thinking when they pull shit like this
