EZ-Duz-It can opener has a lifetime guarantee when you buy from sierra trading company. You can also buy repair kits for them. I found out about them just this Christmas, so I can’t speak to how long they’ll last. My brother was very excited to tell me that it was the best can opener he’d ever used though. It feels solid. I have high hopes.

It looks very clean and well maintained. It’s mostly stainless steel. Why would it smell like anything?

I’m pretty sure someone handy with a needle could put button holes in their regular trousers.

Yeah, you should add two inches to your waist size to get your belt size. Id it’s still not small enough, I think a cobbler will punch an extra hole so it can be cinched in tighter.

You can find that kind of thing on eBay. You might actually find something really, really nice.

Clean air and a climate compatible with human life are public resources. This is an acceptable role of government to protect.

I have a 1930s Gillette. It works well and feels super solid. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

I did have a modern safety razor that I dropped and bent. Couldn’t use it anymore without butchering myself. Bought a Gillette from the 30s, and it feels completely different. I feel like this one is going to last.

My parents got a set of Corelle when they got married, and we still had a decent number of them thirty years later. If you’re looking for daily use and dishwasher safe, I don’t think you can beat them.

If I were you, I’d start cold calling gaming stores asking if somebody maybe has one that they’re willing to sell. It’s probably not stocked in stores anymore, but maybe someone bought it as kind of a collector’s item and could be persuaded to part with it.
Edit: There seems to be a larger zip around wallet/clutch that was released by Nintendo at the same time. If your friend carries a purse, that might be an option.

I don’t have a current Galileo password, so I can’t access to read the full paper you’re referencing. I doubt you can either. Maybe I’m wrong. However, you’re glossing over what constitutes significant chronic exposure. Like I said, zeroing on cookware doesn’t make any sense. Do you still drink tea? Take over the counter medications? Drink unfiltered water from your tap? Those all have higher exposures.

To be fair, it might be the same reason you don’t find themerisol in vaccines anymore. It wasn’t associated with autism, but they took it out in an attempt to reassure people into taking the vaccines again. Not that it worked. There are still people griping about mercury in vaccines.
