I know we’re just kidding here… but what if corporations were allowed to sponsor schools and get naming rights like stadiums? What if a school like George Wythe was rebranded as Dominion Energy HS and given millions of dollars over 15yrs.

That part of town is still glen Allen? Or are there two such facilities in this area. Used to drive by it on the way to Poor Farm Park in Hanover County

I had to watch rogue 1 again after sn1 and realized they all die trying to get those plans. I’m not for all the spin-off series, but I think one of Donnie Yen and his partner could work. Even if it’s something short like 4-6 episodes only.

Damn. I remember getting my first debit card at around age 15 and every week I’d go to the movies and use the newly installed self-ticketing booths to watch R-rated movies. The only time it didn’t work was for American Gangster because the homies wanted to watch it the day it came out.

I also used to clock out at 11 which is around the time they would start leaving. Imagine working 8-5 only to spend your evening “networking” over Amway stuff.

I do miss this one guy (non Amway) who would show up daily (without fail) and buy a 2ltr bottle of Brisk ice tea and a whole rotisserie chicken. He would sit there with his sweet gaming laptop just gaming for hours on end. I would get there around 5:30 so I have no idea when he would start. He seemed like a really cool dude (mid 50s… ish) and I wish I’d gotten to know him. I’m assuming he either got a windfall or some sort or monthly payment that was enough for him to not work and so that was what gave him joy.

They used to take over the Wegmans dining area about two nights a week when I worked there part time. I’m talking 30-50 young men and women. I’m talking handsome dudes and attractive ladies all well dressed and seemingly successful in what they do for their day jobs. Not a single one ever had anything they bought from the store (not even a muffin) and I wondered why management tolerated them.

A Vegan Restaurant recently opened in Innsbrook Shopping centre, between Joey’s Hot Dogs and Firehouse Subs. I have no idea what it’s like but took note of it for when my sister visits.
