Reply to Saturday Morning email from State rep Harry Arora about increases in electricity and natural gas prices by mynameisnotshamus
Partially true but electric and gas rates would of went up since ratepayers would ultimately pay for the upgrades and that was a sticking point. in the long run, it would of been a plus, cheaper, to have the expanded pipelines though.

powerline magnetic fields are always well below guidelines set by two organizations, the WHO and ICNIRP. There are no state limits for magnetic fields along right of ways anywhere in the country because there is no evidence of adverse health effects from exposure.

yes. save yourself consultant fees and DYI . TRC in Windsor has a lab if you wanted to bring a bagged sample there. just wet it first before removing. A thumbnail size pi ece is plenty.

Unless someone can explain it to me I don't understand Stefadumbskis argument., what did this law have to do with the unfortunate shootings in Bristol? The shooter legally owned weapons and was not a a career criminal they kept letting out of jail early. This is the worst sort of political pandering . absolutely disgusting

Trump was one of the weakest foreign policy president ever,- throws our allies under the bus, hands off Afghanistan to the taliban, turns over Syria to the Russians, and appeases his boy Putin.

True. but it's kind of like Stefadumbski sayng he's going to eliminate 200 taxes but when it is pointed out he can't do that with the legislature approval, he said he do it by executive order and wpuld wait for a lawsuit to stop it.... no different here.

No, they're still out. They most likely are hanging around the den site but will come out if it's warm to Sun themselves. Winter is long and cold.

It's a state law. They made Eversource sell their power plants. it was part of Republican led utility de- regulation in late 90s. It never worked.

You can use a diifferent company for generation, so yes , there are options. Eversource simply buys generation as a pass through cost to the rate payer. They don't generate their own power.

The reason why is because it gets more people to vote. You can early vote in accordance with the early voting regulation, it will have a specified time interval. There is no reason for not allowing early voting.

Reminds me of our Liquor Laws. state residents stuck to archaic times- can't buy booze on Sunday even though most the country could. The legislature finally fixed that. Now can't vote early even though almost all of the States allow it...
