I agree, but it definitely meant a lot of time was devoted to not the main plot

Game of Thrones was very slow to start and because the first season storyline was a mystery, it was kind of hard to see where everything tied into it. For instance Dany’s storyline almost feels like a different show. Even Jon once he leaves for the wall
This was very focused and got to the point. It was a family civil war

Reply to Halloween Ends Opinions? (SPOILERS) by ItzTheRealRobb
I liked it. Thought it was better than Kills and one of the better Halloween films. I don't need every film to be a retread of Michael going on a killing spree. Michael seemed more impactful fucking up a town via paranoia and trauma after a spree than he ever can just doing damage in a single night. I also liked that they had Laurie finally have some peace.
Also not for nothing, this film series has 13 films and only 2 have positive critical reception, so it's not like the typical formula is all that much of a grand slam sure thing anyways.

Honestly you probably won't even realize when they spoil some of it. The Dance of the Dragons is a historical event by the time of GoT so it's brought up at points.

I kinda wish they gave a bunch of possible reasons why Cole was firmly on the Greens in the book but didn't specify why instead on making it "he's been hung up on being rejected by a girl and hasn't moved on for 10 years"

The downgrade makes sense depending on how much of a gap there is in price. If you really don't care that much about ads, then you cut your price in half with Hulu by downgrading.
Netflix is even more expensive and is likely the most expensive service people own.
So if you don't care about ads, you cut your price by more than half. An money concious person is going to realize that over a year that's a nice chunk of money. Hell you can talke the savings from the ad tier and then get another serivice like Hulu on ad tier.

True but in the first season the White Walkers really didn’t come into play for Jon until that one scene at the very end
