Agreed and from experience I can say I’ve worked with plenty of people with records. Lots of places will look past it. A lot of places will give you overtime this time of year also.

If you’re going early look up green hill beach or Matunuck beach in South Kingstown. Both have limited public parking with free access. Matunuck would require a little more walking.

Both of the other suggestions you already got are the two best. Especially the EstateSales.net app. Craigslist also has them under the garage sale section.

I wanna suggest the ocean mist as a place to go but it definitely has potential to be on the overrated list also. It’s a fun bar atmosphere right on the ocean. I love going for breakfast. It’s a good time as long as you don’t have your hopes too high. Some people overhype it. Also don’t go there on ticket Tuesday unless you’re in college lol.

Cutting trees and getting solar is expensive. People having a hard time with monthly bills don’t have money for solar or major tree work lol. Not to mention half those people are probably renting.

Newport is going to be pretty expensive regardless of the season.

Start small on eBay, Craigslist, Facebook marketplace. Start with things around your house. You have junk that will sell. This also teaches you the listing process if you sell online.

Then move to sourcing at yardsale and estate sales. You can jump right into storage auctions but you’re probably gonna bite off more than you can chew and get fed up with it.

You’re going to have a lot of junk to toss and you’ll need a lot of space, time, money, knowledge and consistency.

Someone driving a town truck and using mowing equipment is a much bigger risk than you using your private companies copier. The town gets sued a lot if that employee hits someone with the truck off the clock. Especially if it was okayed by bosses.

BS the mayor didn’t know they were using town equipment.
