Yeah I’m not saying he’s not a nice guy, I’ve talked to him numerous times. What I am saying is that his comedy is too off-color and cringey for me. Some people like it (and some people like to eat fast-food seafood in the middle of Missouri) but that’s not something I am fond of. My commentary is on his sets, not his actual character.

Glad you enjoy it though.

Some excerpts of his:

“I was walking down the street and I saw a young woman with her breast hanging out, and I said ‘ma’am, your breast is out!’ And she said ‘oh shit I left my baby on the bus!’”

“I got lucky last night yes I did encourages crowd to cheer my roommate got drunk and fell asleep with his mouth open”

“I was having breakfast the other day and I asked the waitress if she knows the difference between a teabag and a tampon, and she said ‘no I don’t’, so I says I’ll have the coffee then”

“I saw a waitress with a tampon behind her ear and I said ‘ma’am you’ve got a tampon behind your ear’, and she says ‘I’ve been wondering where my pencil is’”

I remember seeing him the first time and thinking holy shit! because it was a literal shock. Having gone to the Blue Room dozens of times since, it has just gotten to the point that it’s uncomfortable (like you said). He recycles the same jokes about tampons, lesbians, and fictitious sexual escapades, and it can really wear the audience thin.

He was anti-vax and against COVID policies. However, after losing one of his friends/employees and father to COVID, and nearly losing his mom, his stance changed.

Yeah that’s totally fair. I made this comment when the answer was -4 and no additional responses. I’m just used to seeing people share their opinions in addition to downvoting

Some places I personally enjoy.

##On C-street:

-Cafe Cusco is good (and is my all-around favorite restaurant), and they have a nice lunch menu.

-Pizza House also has lunch specials.

##Downtown:

-Civil Kitchen, nice variety of items. I like their bacon/apple/waffle sandwich and flash fried kale.

-Zayka, good Indian food and a lunch buffet.

-Greek Belly, delicious gyros, fresh meat.

##Near downtown:

-Rama Thai cafe, good lunch in a neat setting (old house).

-The Dugout, it’s a bar, but their smoked wings are really good. I also like their Cuban.

-Bambino’s (on Delmar), good Italian food and you can specific lunch/dinner portions.

##South side:

-The Sub Shop (on Seminole), great sandwiches.

-Sakura, Bento box lunch specials, but they are closed on Mondays.

-Koriya, good Korean food.

Hey, I sincerely appreciate your reply.

While I can admit I definitely got carried away, the overall message is this: don’t intentionally escalate a situation with bad drivers. While you might think you are proving a point to them, the message is going to be lost because they don’t fundamentally understand that what they are doing is wrong, and then they get mad. It’s also not going to change their driving habits, as much as we’d like to believe that it does.

Also, sorry about your niece.

Playing Mad Max Fury Road and speed matching someone that is in the turn lane and intentionally not letting them merge is dumb. That is matching dumb energy, and no one wins. It only increases the likelihood that a wreck will occur. John Q. Public is not going to make that person change their driving habits by sticking it to ‘em. OP even said that they were flipped off… nothing like pissing off a stupid person who demonstrates they aren’t capable of making a rational decision.
